What is virtual try-on for e-commerce?
Virtual try-on uses AI to show a product on a person without photographing anyone wearing it. For an online store, that means you can take the flat lay or packshot you already have and turn it into an on-model photo — a dress on a model, a sneaker on foot, a necklace on a neckline.

What is an AI virtual try-on?
It is an AI tool that places your product on a generated model, so you get an on-model photo from a flat lay or packshot without a photoshoot.
What products can I try on?
Clothing, footwear, jewelry and accessories: dresses, tops, knitwear, jackets, sneakers, heels, boots, sandals, necklaces, earrings, sunglasses, hats and bags.
What photo should I upload?
A sharp, well-lit photo of the product on its own — a flat lay, hanger shot or packshot on a plain background works best. Avoid heavy shadows, cropped edges and other products in frame.
How many credits does a try-on cost?
Each try-on costs 15 credits. Every new account gets 50 free credits, enough for three try-ons, and packs start at $9 for 200 credits. There is no subscription and credits never expire.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes. Exports carry no watermark and commercial use is included on every account, free or paid — product pages, marketplaces, social posts and paid ads.
Are the models real people?
No. The models are generated people, licensed for use in the content you make with Picsmob. Some marketplaces and countries ask you to disclose AI-generated imagery in ads, so check the rules where you sell.
What if a try-on fails?
Credits are reserved when a job starts and refunded automatically if it fails or times out, so you only pay for results you get.
